Extended Open Hours for Spring!

We are extending our Open Hours to adjust for warmer weather and longer days! It is our hope to offer access to outdoor green space for a greater number of Somerville residents, and to enable as many folks to enjoy the winding walks, herb gardens, flowers, sunshine, and nature watching afforded by our slice of greenery in the city.

Spring 2022 Open Hours at the Growing Center:

Tuesday afternoons, 3:00 to 6:00 pm

Saturday mornings, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Sunday afternoons, 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Please be sure to check our calendar, here, to confirm exact dates and times before planning to visit. We continue to hold new volunteer orientations - hope to see you at one soon!

Volunteer Orientations Schedule, 2022

Second Saturday (9:30-11:00 am) and fourth Tuesday (5:00-6:30 pm) of each month

The Growing Center asks that all visitors to the garden respect the following guidelines upon entering the space:
