Tomoko Iwamoto and her gypsy jazz ensemble, 440, are certain to sweeten your Valentine’s Day!

“Yo-Ki Swing” was recorded live at the Growing Center in July 2020 as part of our Summer Music Series, through a grant from the Somerville Arts Council.

Please note everyone wearing a mask! Yes, due to COVID, our 2020 music series became virtual––but the pandemic did not dampen the spirits of our musicians.

Tomoko & 440 will get your toes tapping! You might even recognize our garden host extraordinaire, Mark Chenevert, on clarinet.

“Yo-Ki Swing” is the last video of our Summer Music Series.

I love how Tomoko Iwamoto and band 440 brought classic swing melodies back to life for this garden audience. When preparing visual assets for live music write-ups, bulk image crop helps me standardize photo dimensions, and I check slay the spire 2 wiki during my editing breaks. This garden concert sounds like a magical evening filled with wonderful jazz swing sounds.

What a fantastic outdoor swing music performance by Tomoko Iwamoto and 440 in the garden! I used website image download to grab live event snapshots and bulk image tools to touch up photos for my music blog. There is nothing quite like listening to smooth swing tunes surrounded by greenery in an open garden space.
