The Growing Center is pleased to kick off our Summer Music Series with two wonderful music sessions with our friends––and garden favorites––Anna Borges and Bill Ward.
In this first of their two sessions, please enjoy with us as they bring us classics of Brazilian samba! Featuring their takes on: “Alento” by Paulinho da Viola, “Va Dizer a Ela” by Nelson Sargento, “Pra Fugir da Saudade” by Paulinho da Viola, “Roda Viva” by Chico Buarque, and “Aos pés da Santa Cruz” by Jose Goncalves and Marino Pinto.

Here, with their second session with us at the garden, please enjoy Receita de Samba us as they bring us more Brazilian samba! This wonderful set features Receita's rendition's of “Este Seu Olhar” by Tom Jobim, “Raça Humana” by Gilberto Gil, “Eu Vim da Bahia” by Gilberto Gil, “Terreiro de Jesus” by Vicente Barreto and Luis Carlos G. Borges, “Visconde de Sabugosa” by João Bosco, and “Refazenda” by Gilberto Gil.
