Thank you for ordering a wreath from the Somerville Community Growing Center! In addition to being a beautiful, hand-decorated wreath, your purchase helps support programming and site maintenance at the Growing Center on Vinal Avenue.

These wreaths include hand made bows, in choice of three colors (red, burgundy or purple- with a small number of experimental blue bows this year), evergreen cones, dried flowers and other natural materials.

Wreaths will be available for pick-up at the Winter Farmers Market at the Arts at the Armory (191 Highland Ave) on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9:30am - 1:00pm. We have a limited number of wreaths available at the lower pre-order price, so we'd appreciate your order by Nov 29. (Limited arrangements can be made for alternative pick ups, so please indicate on order form if needed.)

PAYMENT: Wreath orders received before Nov. 29 are $39. All wreaths sold on or after Nov. 30 are $45.

You can pay when at the time of pick-up by cash or check (made payable to the Friends of the Community Growing Center or "FCGC").

Bow-Making Workshop

Saturday, Nov. 9 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Would you like to learn how to make a holiday bow and help the Growing Center with its annual Holiday Wreath Sale? Come by the home of Liza Kitchell on Saturday, Nov. 9 any time between 4-6pm. (Details attached to this email.) We will practice the basics of bow-making. Then, if you would like to make bows for the Holiday Wreath Sale, you will take home a spool or two of ribbon plus our set of directions - to remind you of what you learned!

If you cannot make the workshop, but would still like to make bows, please contact Liza at lpkitchell@gmail.com or (617) 628-6685 to set up a time for you to come by and practice bow-making and get your materials.
